Would like to have call recording feature on IOS. If it is illegal then why all the androids have that feature which is more than what apple sells. The call recording feature should be provided by apple and i am sure there must be settings which could made to avoid any illegal activity. Moreover the apple has the right to overcharge consumers for repair services. And to provide a phone without a charger or an earphone. Those are capitalist laws but call recording is illegal. Since we as a consumer have to deal with scammers all day long. Since we are stuck with Apple hace to pay the price for everything.

Go easy on the caps lock, in a forum setting its considered shouting and anger. Apple does not supply such a feature because in many parts of the world it is illegal to record calls without the other persons consent and knowledge that it is being recorded. There are 3rd party services out in the ether that do offer the service in countries where it is not a crime. Check your local laws and regulations and then seek out a provider of such a service. Apple produces the product, they don't offer the cellular functions and calls that come to it, that is your carrier.

I am no legal expert but that’s just how it is. I even appear to have been given the “Apple approved answer” which means someone from their teams said... “yup yup that’s right”. It doesn’t matter what android does... good for them. That’s like saying a Ferrari can do something a Ford can’t... the fact of the matter is that Apple creates a single software that is valid for global use without having to mess around with many local laws and compromise their software. The previous point still stands, call recording is illegal in many areas without the direct consent of both parties, don’t believe me? A simple google search will give you the proof... check it out.
