How to turn OFF firmware Password

I have to send my computer to the shop to be repaired. In the instructions it says to "Turn Off your firmware password". How do I do that. I can't find any instructions on this.

How to turn off a firmware password

  1. Start up from macOS Recovery. (https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT201314)
  2. During startup, you will be prompted to enter the firmware password.
  3. When the utilities window appears, click Utilities in the menu bar, then choose Startup Security Utility or Firmware Password Utility.
  4. Click Turn Off Firmware Password.
  5. Enter the firmware password again when prompted.
  6. Quit the utility, then choose Apple menu  > Restart.
