How do I sign my signature using Mail?
Can I use my actual signature to sign an email? If so, how do I get it into the Mail program?

I tested this by creating a signature with a small photo, which I just dragged into that column. When I went to compose an email, the signature with both the text and photo appeared before I even typed anything. It had text plus a small jpg image. The file was .jpg (not .jpeg) and is was about 35KB in size (small).
When you drag the image into that right hand side box, there should be a little green plus symbol as it gets added and then it appears right away. Does that happen for you?
You can drag a signature that is saved as a graphics file (e.g. jpg) into the box for signatures under Mail - Preferences - Signatures. See below instructions, look in the Mail Help section labeled "Right column."
Steve, thanks for the input. For some reason even after scanning my signature into a JPEG, I cannot get it moved over to the Mail program. I followed yours and Mail's instructions to put it into the Preview column, but no luck. I must be missing something. PS - I've been using Mail for years and use signature info when I send emails, but have never used a scanned signature.
Steve -
The signature goes over & the green arrow appears; but the signature is too huge and barely fits onto the email. I'll give it some more effort tomorrow & let you know how I make out. It's bedtime here for me. I appreciate your efforts!
