Using your old Mac Mini's Time Machine backup is the fastest and easiest way to move to the new Mac Mini. Simply connect your old Mac Mini's Time Machine backup drive to the new Mac Mini, when prompted by the Setup Assistant.

If you do not have a Time Machine backup, then it is recommended that you Migrate using a direct Ethernet connection instead of Wi-Fi.
