Hi, I’d like to know, if I had pics and videos and stuff on my new iphone, where did it all go after I backed up all my old images and videos and how do I recover them all?
If the photos and videos were primarily on the device when did you restore from a backup? Those photos and videos will be part of a backup.

Basically I got a new phone, used it for few days, took and received pics and videos
and only after a few days backed up everything which was on my old iPhone from my pc on the new phone ..
then after the backup all which I had on the new phone got wiped and only the old things from the backup were left
I had an old backup from my previous device
and I started using the new device prior to doing my old backup, so when I finally did the back up, I got all my old photos and videos that were backed up but whatever was stored on the new device prior to the back up, all got deleted
Were the photos and videos primarily on the device or were they in iCloud?
So to answer your question, they were on the device
