Alexa ICloud Calendar link - extra events

I linked Alexa to Apple iCloud calendar via the one time app password.

My Alexa calendar shows on the Echo what I have in Apple Calendar, but there are extra events in Chinese on there. Contacted Apple and they passed me to Amazon since the Chinese events cannot be seen when I open calendar. Amazon verified the same Chinese events were present on all echo devices and the Alexa app. Ideas?
