Problem in downloading files from google classroom

I have tried so many times but I still can’t download any file from google classroom to my iPhone. When I opened the file in safari and click on the download icon, I get redirected into a blank tab. Why is this happening? Any help would be much appreciated

Do we need to stay on Google Drive App when Uploading Files? on iPhone I'm always getting error when I try to upload files to Google Drive and I opening another app or The screen timed out. So, my question is, do we need to always open the Google Drive when Uploading?

Hi, welcome to the Apple Users Community.

Chrome is available in the App Store, it will most likely be much easier to use with Google Classroom.
