Stainless Link Band Compatibility

Will the nice stainless link band I currently have on my Series 3 42mm Apple Watch fit the Series 6 44mm? I see in the "create your style" link on the Apple site there is availible a 44mm titanium with stainless link band. Thats what I wanted, but if these bands are the same I will opt for the standard band and use my old one. Thanks everyone.
