Receive apple gift card (via email) even when icloud storage is FULL FULL FULL

Hi Apple Community,

My iCloud storage is FULL.

I do not have a credit card to add to my account but someone is trying to send a gift card via email (directly from their account to mine).

How can i receive/ redeem this gift if my email is restricted from sending or receiving mails?
