Why don’t I have a ‘control’ key on my key board? 6th generation, software 13.7 version?

For shortcuts. I see searching the internet a symbol like a four leaf clover shape, and it says it’s for using shortcuts

There is never a "control" key on the screen keyboard, only on a hardware keyboard. What exactly do you want it for?

What app exactly ?? What shortcut?? Like I said, that's for when you have a hardware keyboard. When you only have a screen keyboard, things are done differently.
