MacBook Pros with Retina displays do not have a user-replaceable battery. Apple charges $199 for a replacement service.

I strongly recommend having Apple do the replacement instead of an Apple Authorized Service Provider or an independent, even if Apple have to sent it off.

The removal of the old battery requires strong, flammable solvents that in most places cannot be stored or used in a retail space. The only option those providers have is to replace the entire upper deck—battery: chasis; keyboard; trackpad—and posts here say they are charging US$500-600 do do so.
