verifying apps

How do I get my Mac to stop verifying every single app I open? Even if the app was open the day before, it has to verify it which takes up my time. It’s extremely annoying.

It should only do it once, if the app has not changed.

Microsoft updates their apps quite frequently (daily if you have it set in the preferences).

Since they change the app when they update it, it gets validated, again.

If the apps are not being updated, then something is not being written to disk when it is validated the first time. I don't know how to resolve that problem. Maybe reinstalling so that the permissions get repaired.

Maybe boot into Safe Mode to clear some system caches, then reboot normally.
