Using a Dell 45W Charger with iPad Pro

Hi,

I just purchased an iPad Pro and found that the included cord is quite short. Is there any harm if I use the cord that came with my laptop to charge my iPad Pro? This is the specific cord if it helps.

Hello leoj0,

After reviewing your post, it seems like you want to know if you can charge the iPhone using an AC Adapter from Dell. We would recommend you use this article for more information.

"Charge iPad Pro

To charge iPad Pro, connect the included USB-C cable to the device's USB-C port and to the included 18W power adapter. Then plug the adapter into a wall outlet.

If you have a higher-wattage USB-C power adapter — such as the one that came with your Mac notebook — you can use it with iPad Pro, and you might see faster charging. You can also charge iPad Pro by connecting it to the USB-C port on your computer."

  1. "Make sure that your power adapter can charge your iPad. It's best to use the power adapter and cable that came with your iPad."

If your iPad won't charge
