Airdrop file size limit

Why is my Airdrop transfer attempt failing? I'm attempting to transfer a video from an iPhone 11 Max Pro to a Mac Pro Desktop and/or Macbook Pro Desktop. Every attempt fails without a seeming attempt to try (no working "circle" to indicate transfer progress). I assume it is the size of the file b/c all other identical file types (significantly smaller in size) transfer like a charm and as expected. With all attempts the devices are within two feet of one another.

Furthermore, this same file, although uploaded to iCloud Drive successfully, can't be downloaded from iCloud Drive; an error message about a "Failed" server or some time-out garbage lingo.

What the heck, community? What's going on here?

Yes, of course. Troubleshooting 101, right? It turns out the resolution is quite a bit more complicated because it seems the issue is simply that we're dealing with a corrupt video file. That's the consensus after a few hours of troubleshooting and a phone call with Apple.

The file is one captured by the 3rd Party app, "ProCam 7" I have some suspicions about what the issue is, but fully theoretical. I've considered the fact that the video file was captured in a new (rather untested) "4K Max" format, and the issue could simply be a software bug. I've also considered that the video was captured with the H.265 codec (I believe Apple introduced), which has caused me complications with file interpretation before. Ultimately, I'm trying to replicate the problem by re-filming myself for an hour with the same phone, same settings... and then filming myself again with alternative settings.

For now, the bottom line is neither Apple or ProCam has been able to account for the mystery of not being able to transfer this file to another device. Interestingly enough, the file can be viewed perfectly within the ProCam app on the iPhone. I don't know. I blame the pandemic.

Any other solutions/recommendations are welcome.
