I have an iPhone 7 but I forgot my apple passcode to put in and update my software so whenever I want to update my software it asks fr my passcode first before it updates of which I forgot the passcode what can I do

It is the same passcode that you use to unlock your iPhone (i.e., the lock screen passcode).
Also, depending on your settings for the iTunes & App Store Purchases, or if you have signed out of iCloud, etc. you may be prompted for your Apple ID password. Here's what to do if you have forgotten it!
