how do i change my daughters password if she is locked out of her ipad and she doesnt remember her password?

If it's the iPad passcode and not the Apple ID: If you forgot the passcode on your iPad, or your iPad is disabled - Apple Support

If it's the Apple ID password and not the device passcode: If you forgot your Apple ID password - Apple Support
