Updating Apple Watch to newest version; watchOS 7

Hey,

Why is it that when a Apple Watch, it takes so long? because I've been trying to update my Apple Watch Series 3 to the newest version (watchOS 7) ALL morning and still hasn't finished. Both my watch and my phone are connected to there charger and are both at 100% and they are both connected to the same Wi-Fi network.

At the moment, the update is currently on the download stage and the progress bar has only moved approximately 1 cm in the past 30-45 mins. I get pretty good internet speeds at my house.

Can someone please help me????
