AppleID displayed when calling someone is not desired

I have an AppleID for work and has my personal phone number as I don't have a work mobile number, I'm not an iPhone user.

When I call someone with iPhone it displays all my appleId information, how can I prevent this?!

Am I allowed to have more than one apple ID using the same mobile number? I am trying to set up an Apple ID on my work Mac, but when I get to the step to enter a phone number to verify my identity I'm receiving a message "your account cannot be created at this time". I'm imagining that it's due to my number being associated with another Apple ID? And if that is true, how can I get around this? I work remotely and only have 1 phone number to use (tried both text and phone call).
