Current clock widget doesn’t give the option to view Alarm Clock

With the new iOS 14 update, ‘up next’ widget, where we could see our alarm clocks, has disappeared. Will there be an alarm clock widget? Current clock widget doesn’t give the option to view Alarm Clock within the widget.

I used that old widget every single day for peace of mind before I went to bed, to make sure that my alarm was set for the correct time (I have so many different alarms for different days it’s hard to keep track in the clock app, and I don’t always trust that it has actually registered). Apple should definitely add an “Up Next (Alarm)” widget. In the meantime, asking Siri to “show next alarm” works and is a decent temporary workaround.

Apple doesn't regularly read these forums, so the best way to get Apple's attention is to report the problem as a bug in the feedback link posted above.

As an exercise in catharsis, though, you can also add your voice to the six pages (and counting) of extreme frustration in this thread: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/251803718?answerId=253590087022&login=true&page=1

It was a mistake for Apple to get rid of the Up Next widget. There's a post about it in these forums 3 pages long (so far) with 9K views and every single person is angry about it.

Instead of asking for an alarm widget, though, why not file a bug report asking them to bring back the Up Next widget?

You can file a bug report here: https://www.apple.com/feedback/iphone.html
