iCloud ruined my MacBook

I turned my MacBook Pro on and the nightmare began. It said iCloud was full (when I never, intentionally, used iCloud and never wanted to). I tried to close all of what showed up and I don’t know what happened but everything on my laptop changed; I saw new iCloud folders and everything moved from where it was. I'm having big anxiety because none of my plugins work now (I guess they moved from place, I don’t know) and I need to work and I can’t.

How can I fix it and be back where I was? And if I can fix it (if not I'm in huge trouble) how can I completely remove iCloud and never ever see it again?

Open system preferences > iCloud and uncheck the box of iCloud Drive a pop up window appears , showing to keep a copy of documents , and remove from the Mac .

( a ) if you had clicked on keep a copy , they will be archived in home folder that can be viewed by clicking on finder in the dock , take cursor on top menu bar > Go > Home > your user name > iCloud Drive ( Archive ) .

Note : you have practice of always unchecking the box of iCloud Drive and keeping them locally , however you had not planned to increase the storage plan , when iCloud Drive and desktops and documents was turned as on the extra documents didn't adjusted in iCloud server and were mot saved , however if you followed these steps some are still iCloud Drive ( archive ) folder .

And again you open system preferences > iCloud the Apple ID icon doesn’t not exist , click on sign in with your original Apple ID and password .

It will prompt to enter Apple ID , click on next and password , again click on next , a red notification will appear over the system preferences , and the icon starts bouncing .

Enter the admin password and click on ok .

A small circle will be rotating in front of Apple ID field .

It will prompt to merge contacts , calendars …click on merge .

In front of iCloud Drive - options check the box of desktops and documents a small circle will rotate , setting up and finally the box will get checked .

The box of keychain is unchecked , tap the box it will be semi greyed for a short while but get checked completely in few moments .
