"Us Guys?" You are not speaking with Apple. This is a user to user only forum. The Apple Specialist you got a response from does work for Apple, but they can only provide a standard Apple Approved link about using the camera on your phone.

Your phone is now 3 years old. It's halfway through its life-cycle and there are going to things released in updates which will NOT be compatible with some phones as they age. That's just the reality of technology. If you are the kind of person who wants the absolute latest features, you'll need to consider updating your phone more often.

No matter what you buy, such as a car, a digital camera, or a computer, new features will come out every year, which your previously purchased products won't include.

While several phones do get iOS 14, that doesn't mean all features are available on all phones. Often if a feature is missing, it means the phone doesn't have the required hardware to perform the function.

That said, you can mirror selfie photos yourself without having to choose the feature from within iOS 14. See this:

  • 1. Launch the Photos app and open the photo that you want to mirror.
  • 2. Tap on the edit button.
  • 3. Here, tap on the crop button.
  • 4. Now, press the “Flip” button to flip the image. Tap on “Done” to save the image.
