That all depends on your internet connection, and on how many users are downloading the new iOS form Apple Servers at this time.


Did you try to update, using your computer instead?

You can choose to download the iOS update as a first step and install it after that in a second step.

That way you will be sure, that the download has been successfully and the firmware files is intact.
