In Settings, my iPhone has erased the option to forward messages. How can it be recaptured?

Hey rgrice1947,

It sounds like you have an issue with forwarding text messages.

You can forward messages by going to Settings > Messages > Text Message Forwarding. More information can be found here: How to forward SMS/MMS text messages from your iPhone to your iPad, iPod touch or Mac - Apple Support.

There's a section in fine print within that resource that states, "Don't see the Text Message Forwarding setting on your iPhone? Go to Settings > Messages, turn off iMessage, turn it back on, tap Send & Receive, tap Use Your Apple ID for iMessage, then sign in with the same Apple ID used on your other devices."

If you follow those steps, does it work?

Cheers.
