I would like to “clean out” my husbands old iPad (cereal # J3051MCEZ38) and set it up for my 5 yo grandson to only use the Khan Academy App. I would probably to better with a genius appt but can’t seem to figure it out. I appreciate your help. Kate
Assuming that you can sign-in to the iPad with the device passcode - and that you know the AppleID account and password - this is the process that you should follow to prepare the iPad for reuse by a new user:

This process wipes all sensitive data from the iPad - and, crucially, removes the Activation Lock that will ultimately impact reuse of the iPad by its new owner.

Ok. This is very helpful. Is there anyway I can only have Khan Academy App in this iPad? I suppose it’s all in the parental settings but ****** if he has gotten around this on his fire tablet.
