How can I revert to previous version of Safari. New one (14.0) is absolutely terrible. I want my Top Sites back!

If I understand correctly, only a Time Machine restore would work. There is no other way to revert. Hoping .1 version update might fix the issues coming up
you can add your sites that used to be "Top Sites" by adding bookmark for each site to favorites:
once you add them they show up on the new start page like this:
you can then use the old "Top Sites" button to open the start page:

The icons are now tiny and many are indistinguishable for others. Is there a way to revert to having my "top sites" or "favorites" icons appear like they used to by showing the website page that is bookmarked?
