Iphone xs max model a2101 does not either have esim option or second physical sim. Only one physical sim. But inside phone there are 2 imei numbers and two imei on box. Why is that so?

You do have a dual SIM with eSIM, unless you are in an area where this is not offered (e.g., China mainland).
