How to record using Apple TV

Some streaming TV providers use so-called “cloud DVR”, when they keep copies of live TV programs available online for replay for subscribers for that service.

For on-demand programs, that is default, and “recording” isn’t needed at all.

The AppleTV device doesn’t record. That would be a function of the streaming service you use.
