How do disable the App Library ? It’s bloody terrible
How do you switch off the bloody awful folders system in the App Library ? The A to Z is ok . If as I suspect you can’t , how do I downgrade back to iOS 13
iPhone XR

Personally I don’t quite get all the drama. If you don’t like it, don’t use it. Or get a little more info on how to use it: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT211345

• Here are some others (I am guessing, with high probability of success)
Zoom
• Voice Control
• Restrictions
So you live with many features on your iPhone that you don’t care to use. App Library is just another.
And THAT should be “fairly easy to understand”, but alas, pointless whining seems to be more fulfilling.
serves a function for me.. I have a few hundred apps and not having to dig thru my folders, see an alphabetical list.. Even remove them from the Home Screen and leave em in the library, I think that's awesome. I don't know that I'll ever use/need the categories it sorts them into though. I just pull down to see the list and ignore the rest
You can provide feedback/suggestions to Apple here
No drama really , I personally like my phone streamlined , so not having this on there would be better . A simple A to Z list on the left panel would have been a much better implementation of this idea , widgets could then just be added if required . Also the fact that apps move in lines of 2 when adding the widgets is another example of a really bad implementation
The issue is I’ve organised all my apps into folders, and the library organises them into its own order, which at least on my phone bears little resemblance to how I want them ordered. The idea is fine, but we need the functionality to order them as we want, not as the phone guesses.
Wrong. An iOS, whichever one first featured the above, wasn’t launched with zoom etc being one of the principal new features. And crucially, please don’t make me say this again... you can turn them off.

Has anybody noticed if you swipe down on a Home Screen you just get a blurry screen that doesn’t do anything ( no search etc ) is this a bug ? It also seems to be quite difficult to get rid of it
Not what I see. I get a search field and Siri Suggestions
Sorry not quite sure what was ment in that response , so are you saying that a blurry screen with nothing on it is a new feature ? I do get that you can just not swipe down on a screen , but sometimes it just happens .
Er thanks for that , I would still like to remove them Permanently though

The apps move in the needed configuration to add a widget (and depending on the selected size of the widget). How else would it work?
It doesn’t seem to be a problem on an Android based system , you can arrange them any way you like , unlike this
This will not impact how your home screens are set up all. Non issue.

🤷🏼♂️ Then buy an Android.
It’s not a non issue, and I haven’t said it will impact my Home Screen. It’s a feature I don’t want that I can’t change. That should be fairly easy to understand.
