Mac Pro (2019) Internal Mic and XDR Monitor Camera Not Working

I brought my work desktop setup home, 1) 2019 Mac Pro Desktop 2) XDR Pro Monitor. Odd but both the internal microphone in the desktop tower and the camera in the monitor are not being recognized by the OS. I was just prompted to upgrade to Catalina 10.15.6. I went through the PRAM and other resets, but still have "no microphone or no camera detected" in System Preferences.

I would rather not have to take this extremely heavy and expensive setup into the Apple store, so I was hoping that someone may have a solve for this or any thoughts!

Check the Camera and Microphone settings in the Privacy tab of "Security & Privacy" system preference.

I did and it’s literally not showing that there is even hardware installed to identify either of them internally. It worked fine at my office and it’s brand new. In those menus, there is no acknowledgement of anything installed

I have the exact same expensive setup, and guess what? No microphone either.

After a full day of troubleshooting with Apple Call Centre (who for some reason didn't have the info in their system regarding the lack of internal mic in this product), and an Apple tech coming on-site to retrieve my desktop, they finally call me 2 days later to say that none of the Mac Pro 2019 desktops have an internal mic (?!) They sent me pics of the display Mac Pro at the store vs mine, and indeed they don't come with one! How crazy that you spend this kind of money and still have to plug in an external mic.

Hope this helps, now I'm going to go check on my monitor camera which probably won't have one either...
