Missing download folder on mac

My Macbook air Catalina (2020). Is missing the download folder. I can't access download folder. If I download something it disappears and I can't find it. I don't know how to fix it. Anyone know? Look at the photos. I have missing downloads from school that I still might need. And this was the download folder I made and it didn't work.
