My Macbook air Catalina (2020). Is missing the download folder. I can't access download folder. If I download something it disappears and I can't find it. I don't know how to fix it. Anyone know? Look at the photos. I have missing downloads from school that I still might need. And this was the download folder I made and it didn't work.

Your graphics indicate it is clearly there, is it empty? At any rate, please restart the computer in Safe Mode and then retest. Use safe mode to isolate issues with your Mac
