i have the exact same problem and i like the way the update works for the rest of my phone but not at the cost of ruining the quality of any video i upload on snapchat or instagram. they all look awful and my phone is in perfect condition.

It is def heavily pixelated, and the video does not the same quality as before. I like the bubbly and bright widgets, but it's usually not apple's style. Ive just had to do a lot more adjusting with my brightness, and nighttime settings. I think that helps a bit. If u do find outa better solution or a fix for this problem, plz share. 😁

You’re not the only one. Sending videos through any types of messages (imessage, whatsapp, Snapchat, Instagram) is very pixelated and blurry after I updated to iOS14. Sending pictures are fine. Worked perfectly before and now it’s not.

In gallery it is fine, once shared the quality is terrible. Tested this on WhatsApp, iMessage and Instagram, the quality is terrible. I opened three cases with Apple Support but still no joy!! They asked me to do a fresh install which is a pain.

None of these worked I have gotten a new screen, restarted my phone and taken it to an apple retail shop who told me they couldn’t do anything because it was the update that caused and they have no control over that. What’s the point of the update if it makes me look like I’ve an android every time I take a video? Not what I want

What’s the point of the update when every time I take a video I’m here looking like I’ve an android I got an apple product for a reason so fix up? Are yous gonna fix this or am I gonna be looking like a robot in my videos for the next few months

so do we just wait and see if apple adds an update to fix the bug of the video quality or is there a fix?

Literally me too apple really needs to fix this because everything was just fine in iOS 13
