SSL Error Received On My iPod Touch Newest Generation...

Certain songs will not play on my iPod Touch because of a SSL Error has occurred. I have only had my iPod for six months, it’s still brand new! I have tried restarting it, I am not on any public WiFi, just mine, and the certain songs will play on my iPhone and iPad but not my iPod touch. What could be the problem?

SSL error with car play I am having CarPlay issues. I get an error message on my car: "An SSL error has occurred and a secure connection to server cannot be made." My phone will get the same error message. My phone is an 11 Pro Max and it's updated to 14.7.1 Is it the software? The phone? The car? Same thing happens with my husband’s phone while in the car - it’s an iPhone 8. I have OnStar and it’s WiFi. Help!

It sounds like certain songs won’t play on your iPod touch, and we're happy to help. You can try the suggestions here to troubleshoot your connection to the iTunes Store:

If you can't connect to the App Store, iTunes Store, or other Apple services
