Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference to kick off June 10 at 10 a.m. PDT with Keynote address

The Keynote will be available to stream on apple.com, the Apple Developer app, the Apple TV app, and the Apple YouTube channel. On-demand playback will be available after the conclusion of the stream.

Add second text box to title on master slide

I would like to add additional title text to the master slide.

At present on the master slide, there is a "Title" text box.

I have tried adding an additional text box, but that text box appears on ALL slides, not just the title slide.

Is there any way to add a text box that appears only on the title slide?

I'm using keynote 10.1

Any thing placed on a Master Slide will show on all slides, that's the purpose of the Master Slide.

To add a text box to a single slide:

either go to: Insert > Text Box

or click the Text Box tool on the Tool Bar
