Gmail not working on iPad OS 13 or 14
The Mail app on my iPad 6th generation will not load or send Gmail. I had this problem when on iPad OS 13 and after reading all the supposed fixes online I connected the iPad to my Mac Mini and reset it from scratch. This got the Mail app working with Gmail temporarily, about a week or so and then it stopped again. I was hoping the update to OS 14 would fix the issue, no such luck. Gmail works well with the Mail app on my iPhone XR in both OS 13 and 14 and works well on my Mac Mini. For some reason the Mail app or iPad OS seems to have some incompatibility with Gmail. I have taken to using Safari and web mail to access my Gmail acct. with the iPad but feel this is a sorry state of affairs that the internet should be full of posts about this problem going back years. One can't be expected to reset their iPad back to square one every week to make the Mail app work.
