deleting apps on an iPad mini 2
I have an iPad mini 2 running iOS 12.4.8 and I want to delete an app or apps--I hold the app down waiting for the "jiggle," but nothing happens--Thx for your time

Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities. We understand that you are not able to delete apps from your iPad mini 2. We will be glad to assist. Please see the steps below to check for possible Screen Time restrictions that might be preventing apps from being deleted:
Settings > Screen Time > Content and Privacy Restrictions > iTunes and
App Store Purchases > Deleting Apps.
Use Screen Time on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
