stuck on 538

can't get my apple watch passed the 5.3.8. update to finish pairing my watch??

Apple Watch keeps unpairing during initial set up I just purchased a new Apple watch series 8 and began to pair it with my iPhone 12. I got past where it is paired and I tell it which wrist I wear the watch on, and it began doing something else that would take a few minutes and then it starts to unpair. apple watch can a series 1 apple watch pair with a se second generation? every time i try to pair i get a notification that i’m not connected to the internet, but i am. my phone is updated to the ios 16.2

series 4 have been downloading the os7 for watch all night stuck called our internet provider not on their end

the watch is on pause.. have apple x everything is running updated. I am just stuck.
