MacBook Air charging mulfucntion

I have purchased my MacBook Air around two months ago online through apple.com and it suddenly stopped charging. The charger (adapter and cable) is fine and working the problem is with the laptop as I have been told when i went to the authorized reseller "Tradeline".

I need to know what to do as soon as possible as my university have started online and I am fully dependent on my laptop.
