News widget on iPhone

Its not working anymore. It says "read stories in apple news" instead of listing the stories on the widget screen. iPhone 6s iOS 13.6.1

Apple News spinning wheel on iPad Hi, i have a 4th gen iPad running iOS 10.3.3. A few weeks ago, it started that apple news was not available in the widget or it would be available for a moment and go away. Then it progressed to when I tried to open the apple news app I would just get the white apple news screen with a spinning wheel. I can access news stories if I open them from the lock screen but no other way. i have tried resetting the iPad to factory settings, deleting the apple news app and reinstalling from the App Store, logging out from iCloud and logging back in, removing news from the cloud and adding it back and nothing has worked. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

News missing from my home screen Hi. I just upgraded to a IPhone 13. Now when I ooen my phone, the is a white rectangle where a “preview” of my news send to be. It always had 4 or 5 items that changed through out the day. If I click on that blank space it brings me straight to news. How do I get the news to show up again on that first page of my Home Screen?

To start, update your iPhone to the latest iOS version to see if that resolves your issue:

Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Then try removing and re-adding the News widget:

Use widgets on your iPhone and iPod touch
