With the iOS 14 when on facetime, and when i'm using another app i can see the other person but my camera still says paused. Can i get some help as to how i can fix it?

Thanks for that info and for choosing the Apple Support Communities. If we understand correctly, you are unable to use another app when on a FaceTime call, as FaceTime shows as paused on your iPhone. To help with this, go to Settings > General > Picture in Picture and temporarily turn this off. Then restart your iPhone and turn Picture in Picture back on in Settings > General > Picture in Picture and then test your issue again:
