problems after latest safari update

My system is MBPro 13" 2017 running Mojave 10.14.6.

After updating Safari a couple of days ago to version 14.0, it keeps reporting a problem on certain web-sites, and tries re-loading them until eventually the following message appears: "A problem repeatedly occurred with (...web-site...) RELOAD WEBPAGE"

I thought it might be some new preference, so I went in and allowed pop-ups and released Content Blockers, for the site, but still occurring. Any one else experienced this? Any ideas?

Thanks!

This is occurring for me constantly. Safari is almost unusable now. Ever since upgrading to 14.0. Running on a Mid 2012 MacBook Pro running 10.14.6

I had to re-install OS Mojave, and now it is working just fine. Here is the procedure:

First, it is good practice to make sure you have a full back-up prior to re-installing system software.

Next shut down your Mac.

Now power-on, holding Command-R until the apple logo appears. then release the keys.

When prompted, Select the option for installing system software.

That will install a new system from the web. It took about 2 hours on my (80Mbps) connection .

After that, all should be as it was before.
