Picture sent via messenger on Mac not showing on my iPhone

When I sent a picture via messenger on my Mac it doesnt show on my iPhones messenger. Whoever I sent it to gets it but for whatever reason it isn't showing on mine. I can receive pictures, both on my mac and phone, sent by other people. It is just the pics that I have sent via my mac

Iphone X software version 14.0

Mac OS Catalina version 10.15.6

I am pretty sure this just started when I downloaded phone os 14
