"Activation Required" after reset (Using alreaady 2 yr above)

But i used these phone 2 yrs above then i reset it with a new apple id and new sim, after reset ..gave apple id and when i insert sim tray with sim ...its showing activation requird ....why this showed...where i used it almost 2.5 yrs before reset
