In there any difference between the ECG on Apple Watch 4 vs Apple Watch 6?
Apple Watch Series 4, watchOS 7
No change, the ECG is a snapshot, not a continuous monitor like a holter
provides.

Thanks for the reply , I was wondering if there is any improvement or if the ECG option does monitor all the time for an accurate Afib similar than an holter on series 6, but I guess is the same as the series 4 , not sure if worth to upgrade to 6 on this point of view.

I also have a series 4, and heart foibles on occasion.
I am considering updating to a series 6 as my cardiologist is
participating in an blood oxygen study and asked if I would help
provide data. Study is not yet open so no update decision has
been made.
I upgraded from a Apple Watch Series 4 to a Series 6. Everything works including pulse rate and the new O2 app.
My problem is that when I select the ECG app on my Watch it says to set it up on my iPhone. When I go to the Health/Heart/ECG on my iPhone the ECG portion is already setup with no sources.
Deleting the ECG app on the Watch does not help. The ECG portion does not change.
How do you reset the ECG portion of the Health app when uninstalling the ECG app on the Watch does not work?
Nope. It still takes an ECG.
