Huge memory leak in Safari 14

I am running Safari Version 14.0 (15610.1.28.1.9, 15610).

Seeing huge memory usage.

Yesterday, Safari used 44GB of RAM. Yes, 44GB out of the 64GB on my new iMac.

I am having to quit/relaunch Safari multiple times a day.


Ideas for fixes??

iMac 27″, macOS 10.15

I have this with my Mac Pro (10.15.6 (19G2021)) with Safari 14.0 (15610.1.28.1.9, 15610) as well.

Have been messing around disabling extensions to check its not a leak in one of those and even with all disabled and only 6 windows open, Safari leaks memory like a sieve.
