Hi there, I just purchased the Apple Watch 6 today and really disappointed that I can't play Spotify without having my iphone present. Is this correct or am I missing something?
My sister has a €160 Samsung Watch and that has the capability of downloading offline. Yet, this watch is over €400 and meant to be the top one on the market. Surely this should be a function for the 6?
Any help would be appreciated.
That is up to Spotify, not Apple.
Apple Music and Pandora fully support the Apple Watch, including streaming and offline playlists.
There have been rumors recently that Spotify was testing a streaming app. You can Google "spotify streaming rumors" and gage for yourself how valid they are.
