IPad stuck in guided access, triple click does not bring up the passcode screen to exit guided access. Force restart goes right back into the app and starts guided access.

Force restart the iPad.
Hold the home and power buttons together for about 10 seconds until the Apple logo appears.
Older iPad with home button. It says triple click or use finger print. No one to our family knowledge has set up finger print on this iPad. Triple clocking the home button does nothing. Clicking it a dozen times does nothing. Clicking top button just closes iPad
Like I said in the description when I do this it goes right back into the app and starts guided access.
