I just upgraded to IOS14. i have been doing backups to my PC. Since the OS14 upgrade my backups seem to be outrageously large (for a 256GB Iphone XS a backup that's over 560GB seems a bit excessive). i don't see how that's even possible. The backups don't finish as i barely have more than that free on my C drive.
anyone have any ideas what's going on here?! i am stumped.

i don't recall seeing this "snapshot" folder previously...is this new? backups haven't nearly been that big in the past.
should i expect a 256GB snapshot folder? or at least the size of data on it?
nope because there hasn't been a successful one since my iOS14 upgrade. I can't get one to finish because i have barely more than 560GB of free space.

Your title refers to Snapchat, but your post does not.
A device with 256GB storage can't possibly create a backup of 560GB.
Where are you measuring the backup size? Why did you refer to Snapchat?

we've reached the limit of my expertise on Windows iTunes behaviour.
can you see the backup attempts in iTunes > preferences > devices?
