My sil gave my daughter a used ipod touch. I created an apple account. The ipod is stuck on double verification.
When i entered Apple id and password it tells me it's wrong and then i get a text with a verification code.
Am i to enter the pw i created followed by the verification code? Or how can I get past this?

So I'll enter my apple id
Then my password it will tell me it's invalid. Then I'll get 2 texts from apple(not sure why)
So i am to retry logging in with say
My pw is abc123 then the code is 111111
I should enter abc123111111?
Is this correct?
Do you know why I'm getting 2 codes from apple?
I Also tried turning off the 2 step but there is no edit option and the on is not enabled, so that's not clickable either.
