Old IOS Backup

Hi,

Just wondering if I delete old iOS backups stored on my MacBook Pro will that affect my current iPhone? I have just found backups on here from 2017 and it is obviously taking up storage space so wanting to clean up if I can.

It should not, unless you need them.
