The 12W power adapter, I just got it and Im wondering if it only charges your phone when it’s plugged into a wall with my cable or can I also use it when I’m not home? Can I charge my phone with the box alone? If yes then how do I know if box is charged??? I don’t know anything about this kind of stuff.. if the adapter doesn’t charge while on the go then does it charge your phone faster using it on a wall anyways?

the charger is a transformer from 110/230 to 5volt and made AC to DC current
it does not have a battery so as soon as you disconnect it from the wall outlet it will stop working.

Yes, this power adapter must be plugged into an electrical socket in order for it to work for charging your notebook. It does not contain a battery.
